Support for the Extended Project

Are you thinking about becoming an Extended Project co-ordinator or supervisor? Would you like to talk through your plans with an expert who is already delivering the Extended Project?

Extended Project learners

A Lead Practitioner from the General Qualifications Support Programme can provide you with face-to-face support and guidance. We can offer you:

  • consultation to audit your resources and plan for future delivery
  • advice to help you develop your current Extended Project programme.

Support is completely flexible and is offered at no charge to your organisation. It can be delivered in a way that suits you, for example:

  • as part of an INSET day
  • during a team meeting
  • as a twilight session.

It can also cover the reforms to A levels, for example the introduction of stretch and challenge into A2 specifications.

The General Qualifications Support Programme is designed to help all schools with sixth forms, sixth form colleges and further education colleges to implement an innovative and integrated curriculum offer through the revised A levels and the use of the Extended Project qualification (EPQ).
